Patricia’s Story
Patricia DeMartino has lived a remarkable life. Now 86 years old and living in the beautiful Niagara Falls area, Patricia has always been a trailblazer in her family. She was the very first person in Murray’s entire family to attend college, a point of pride that her father in law never tired of mentioning.
Patricia raised two wonderful children and has been blessed with grandchildren who continue to make her proud. Her daughter Trisha Marie just celebrated her 60th birthday, and Patricia lights up when she speaks of her. She is beautiful, isn’t she? But she is nice, too. And a lot of women that are beautiful are not nice. Her grandson Vincent now runs DeMartino Construction in Niagara Falls, carrying forward the family name with skill and dedication.
Throughout her life, Patricia has been surrounded by love. From her sisters Lydia, Gertrude, and Hazel to dear friends like Peggy and Fred, each relationship has added something precious to her life.
Murray’s Story
Murray DeMartino was Patricia’s beloved husband and partner through life’s many adventures. Known for his practical nature, Murray was a man of substance and character. He once told his daughter he would pay for her wedding but wouldn’t dance. When the music started, though, he couldn’t resist. He danced anyway. That was Murray, full of surprises and love.
Murray and Patricia built a beautiful life together in the Buffalo and Niagara Falls area, raising their family with strong values and endless devotion. Though Murray has passed, his memory lives on in every family gathering, every shared laugh, and every story told by those who knew and loved him.
Their Legacy
Together, Patricia and Murray created a family bound by love, respect, and joy. Their story is one of commitment, shared dreams, and the simple beauty of a life well lived.
